Booking Terms & Conditions

1. BOOKING:
Corporate Rebels considers acceptance of a booking for a delegate to the WCCE 2013 Congress when the WCCE Registration Form accompanied by the correct WCCE 2013 Congress Fee amount is received by CORPORATE REBELS, provided always that the full Congress Fee is received by CORPORATE REBELS within seven days of receiving the Registration Form. If the correct Congress Fee is not paid, CORPORATE REBELS may, in their own discretion, and without further notice, re-allocate the booking to another delegate, and refund the incorrect booking amount less an administration fee of ten per cent.

2. CANCELLATIONS:
A. Any delegate intending to cancel a confirmed booking, must notify CORPORATE REBELS in writing at least eight weeks prior to the Congress. Such cancellations will carry a cancellation fee of ten per cent of the total booking. In the event that the cancellation is received less than eight weeks prior to the Congress, the cancellation fee will be fifty per cent of the total booking. In the event that the cancellation is received less than four weeks prior to the Congress no refund will be made to the delegate but a substitution delegate will be welcome.
B. Should the Congress be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of CORPORATE REBELS, the booked and confirmed delegates will not be entitled to any compensation or damages. CORPORATE REBELS will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative, or the rescheduling of the Congress event. If neither can be arranged to the satisfaction of CORPORATE REBELS, a refund will be paid to delegates less an administrative charge of ten per cent of the booking price.

3. SUBSTTITUTIONS:
Delegate substitutions are allowed at any time after a confirmed booking but no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. Notice of substitutions must be done in writing and addressed to CORPORATE REBELS at info@rebels.co.za and such notice must reach CORPORATE REBELS 2 weeks prior to the Congress.

4. ALTERATIONS TO EVENT:
A. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide the event as advertised to the delegates, but CORPORATE REBELS reserves the right to make any alterations to event arrangements, including changes in time, date and venue, modifications in the program or provision of alternative facilities, if deemed necessary.
B.CORPORATE REBELS may impose additional charges to the contracted prices payable by the delegates prior to the event as a result of adverse fluctuation in exchange rates or increases in the cost of travel, fuel or accommodation or other expenses being incurred in connection with the event which said cost increases will be set out in the final invoice payable within fourteen days of receipt by the delegate provided always that such increases shall not exceed ten per cent (10%) of the Congress price.

5. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:
A.CORPORATE REBELS, nor their employees, agents, officers or any Congress volunteers, are responsible for loss, damage or injury to any person or to their property as all delegates and presenters attend events organized by CORPORATE REBELS at their own risk.

B.CORPORATE REBELS accepts no responsibility for circumstances beyond its control including force majeure terrorist activities, weather conditions, fire or for early or late opening or closure of the Congress or in respect of any breakdown or non-supply of transport other than such matters as are directly under the control of CORPORATE REBELS.

C.CORPORATE REBELS shall not be obliged in the case of cancellation or postponement of any extra, recreational or entertainment activity to refund any monies paid by any delegate directly to such extra event or accommodation.

D. The delegate is responsible for all damages caused by him or her. CORPORATE REBELS reserves the right to require a delegate to immediately leave the premises of the Congress is such a delegates behaviour is, in the sole opinion of CORPORATE REBELS, likely to cause inconvenience, nuisance, difficulty to other delegates and or to their guests. In the event that CORPORATE REBELS requests a delegate to leave  the delegate undertakes herewith to co-operate and to procure compliance with such a requirement and in such eventuality no refund shall be made by CORPORATE REBELS to the delegate.

E. CORPORATE REBELS will take every care to ensure that the descriptions of events are accurate but recognizes that errors do sometimes occur and that amenities may be modified or withdrawn. CORPORATE REBELS has no responsibilities for any such errors or modifications.

6. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTES:
In the event of dissatisfaction or a complaint, the delegate is required to notify CORPORATE REBELS in writing within seven days of the occurrence giving rise to such dissatisfaction or complaint. In the event of the matter not being settled to the satisfaction of the delegate, both CORPORATE REBELS and the delegate agree that the cause of complaint shall be referred to an independent Arbitrator for adjudication appointed by the President at the time being of the Incorporated Law Society of South Africa who shall act as an Expert and not as an Arbitrator under the Arbitration Act and whose decision including a decision on costs of the Arbitrator and will be final and binding on the parties.

7. GENERAL

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to deprive the delegate (where the delegate is a consumer) of rights which the delegate may enjoy as a consumer under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
